회사 근처에 유명한 빵집이 있다는 이야기를 듣고 점심시간에 방문했어요. 기억 속에는 그런 빵집이 없었는데 어디에 있는거냐면 투덜거렸는데, 알고 봤더니 정말 숨어 있더라구요~ 지도만 보고는 좀 헤맬 수 있겠다 싶었습니다. I heard that there is a famous bakery near my company, so I visited it during lunch time. I didn't have such a bakery in my memory, but I was grumbling where it was, but it turned out that it was really hiding. I thought I could get lost just by looking at the map.
처음 오시는 분들이라면, 지도상으로는 여기가 맞는데 어디있지?! 하고 찾으실텐데요~ If it's your first time coming, it's right here on the map, but where is it?! You can not find it easily.
삼성동에서 콩나물국밥으로 유명한 가게 밑에 있습니다. 꼭 위에 사진 기억하세요~ It is located in Samseong-dong under the famous bean sprout soup restaurant. Make sure to remember the picture.
입구 주변에 이렇다할 안내판도 없고, 콩나물국밥집 내려가는 계단을 같이 쓰고 있어서 더 찾기 어려우실 거에요. 저도 3년 넘게 점심식사를 하러 다녔지만, 이번에 처음 알았거든요. There is no notice board around the entrance, and it will be harder to find because we share the stairs to the bean sprout soup restaurant. I've been to lunch for more than three years, but I found out for the first time this time.
커피진심베이커리 Coffee Jinsim Bakery
콩나물국밥집으로 내려가는 계단을 지나, 더 내려가시면 커피진심 베이커리가 나옵니다. If you pass the stairs to the bean sprout soup restaurant, and go further down, you will find Coffee Jinsim Bakery.
정말 아는 사람만 찾아오는 곳이에요. 숨겨진 맛집이란 표현이 너무 잘 들어맞구요. It's a place where only acquaintances visit. The expression "hidden restaurant" fits so well.
입구 옆에는 명장임을 인증하는 증명서와 메달이 걸려있어요. 빵에 대한 자부심이 느껴지고, 입장 전부터 기대치를 한껏 높여주네요. Next to the entrance, there is a certificate and a medal that certifies the master. I feel proud of the bread, and it raises expectations even before entering.
정말 숨겨져 있어서 점심시간임에도 이렇게 북적일 줄은 몰랐어요. 역시 어디에 숨어있던 맛집은 인기가 많네요. It's really hidden, so I didn't know it would be this crowded even during lunch time. As expected, famous restaurants hidden somewhere are popular.
문을 열고 들어서면 바로 앞에 빵들이 진열되어 있어요. 이미 인기있는 빵들은 마감되었네요. Breads are displayed right in front of you when you open the door. The popular breads are already sold-out.
바로 우측에는 베이킹을 하는 주방이 나옵니다. Just to the right, there is a baking kitchen.
오픈형으로 베이킹하는 모습을 적나라하게 보여주기 때문에, 이러면 더 신뢰가 가죠. It shows you how to bake in an open type, so it's more reliable.
카운터에서는 바쁘게 계산도 하지만, 뒷편에서 더 바쁘게 커피를 내리고 있어요. It is busy paying at the counter, but busier at the back to make coffee.
빵에는 커피는 국룰이죠. Coffee is the mandatory with bread.
안쪽에는 소소하게 인테리어를 해놓았어요. There's a small interior design on the inside.
전체적으로 우드톤으로 베이스를 맞춰고 포인트 조명들로 은은한 분위기를 잘 연출한 것 같아요. Overall, I matched the base with wood tone, and I think the point lights created a subtle atmosphere.
커피 메뉴판입니다. 가격대는 스타벅스 정도의 가격대라고 보시면 될 것 같아요. This is the coffee menu. The price range is about Starbucks.
빵들 Breads
입구에서부터 순서대로 한바퀴 돌아봤어요. I went around once from the entrance.
빵을 좋아하지만 이렇게 많은 종류가 있다는 줄 몰랐네요. I like bread, but I didn't know there were so many kinds.
이게 이 곳, 커피진심의 메인인 소금빵입니다. This is the salt bread, the main item.
이렇게 커피 원두도 팔고 있어요. 커피 로스팅도 한다는 이야기가 들렸는데, 눈으로 확인을 못해서 잘 모르겠네요. They sell coffee beans like this. I heard that they are roasting coffee, but I don't know because I didn't check it with my eyes.
신제품이나 테스트하는 빵들을 시음해 볼 수도 있어요. You can try new products or test breads.
커피진심베이커리의 솔직한 후기 Honest Review
역시나 자리가 없어서 테이크아웃을 해서 나왔습니다. 사진에 협조해주신 동료분들께 감사드립니다~ㅎㅎ As expected, there were no seats available, so I came out with a take-out. Thank you to the colleagues who cooperated with the photos.
커피는 씁쓸한 뒷끝이 느껴지는 맛이었고, 고소한 맛이 일반적인 커피보다 덜한 느낌이었어요. The coffee tasted bitter aftertaste, and the savory taste felt less than normal coffee.
무난한 커피지만 그렇다고 어디에서나 파는 흔한 커피맛은 아니었어요. It was a normal coffee, but it wasn't a common coffee that was sold everywhere.
로스팅도 직접 한다는데, 맛있는 커피를 만든다기 보다는 빵이랑 먹었을 때 조화로운 맛을 추구하는 것 같았어요. I heard that they roast themselves, but rather than making delicious coffee, it seemed like they were pursuing a harmonious taste when they ate it with bread.
하지만 메인은 커피가 아니죠. But the main thing is not coffee.
소금빵을 사와서 사무실에서 디저트를 즐겼습니다. I bought salt bread and enjoyed dessert at the office.
우선 빵에 버터를 많이 쓴듯, 포장을 열자 버터향이 느껴졌어요. First of all, I could feel the smell of butter when I opened the package, as if I used a lot of butter on the bread.
식감은 쫀득쫀득함이 확실히 느껴지고, 소금맛이 확실히 느껴졌습니다. 소금 입자가 큰게 눈에 보일 정도니까요. The texture was definitely chewy, and I definitely felt the salt taste. You can even see the big salt particles.
그래서 그런지 고소한 버터향과 짭쪼름함이 잘 어울렸고, 식감도 좋아서 정신없이 먹다가는 몇개를 먹게 될지 모르겠더라구요.
Maybe that's why the savory butter scent and the salty taste went well together, and the texture was good, so I didn't know how many I would eat if I ate it.
개인적으로는 삼성역 근처에 오셨으면 한번쯤 방문해서 즐겨보시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 일부러 오실 정도인지 몇번 더 가보고 고민해 보겠습니다. Personally, if you come near Samseong Station, it would be good to visit and enjoy it. I'll think about it a few more times to see if you're coming on purpose.
