외장하드를 새로 사서 자료들을 정리하다 보니, 예전 사진들을 오랜만에 찾아보게 되었습니다. As I bought a new external hard drive and organized the materials, I found old photos after a long time.
그러다 지금은 없어진 무한도전 사진전에 갔던 사진들이 있어 한번 포스팅해 보게 되었어요. Then, there were some pictures that I went to the Infinite Challenge photo exhibition, so I posted them.
2010년 3월 6일, 대구 MBC에서 열린 무한도전 사진전을 다녀왔던 기록입니다. This is a record of going to the Infinite Challenge Photo Exhibition held at MBC in Daegu on March 6, 2010.
서울을 시작으로 전국을 돌며 전시전이 진행되었고, 당시 사진에 미쳐있던 터라 귀찮아 하는 동생에게 용돈을 쥐어주며 함께 갔던 기억이 나네요. 이날따라 추적추적 비가 내리는 날씨였고 지하철을 타고 갔기에 동생의 투덜거림까지 받으며 찾아갔었습니다. Starting with Seoul, this exhibitions were held around the country, and I remember giving pocket money to my sisther who was annoyed to go together. I was crazy about photography at the time. On this day, it was raining and I took the subway, so I went there with my sisther's grumbling.
대구MBC 무한도전 사진전 입구에 2월19일 ~3월 7일까지 전시한다고 적혀 있었습니다. 아마 모르고 있었다가 부랴부랴 알아보고 갔었던 것 같아요. It was written at the entrance of the Daegu MBC Infinite Challenge Photo Exhibition that it was exhibited from February 19th to March 7th. I think I didn't know about it and went to find out.
비가 내리는 와중에도 입장하려고 기다린 사람들이 많았어요. 지금도 유튜브나 짧은 영상으로 여전히 인기가 많지만, 이 당시에는 매주 월요일이면 사람들 첫번째 이야기가 토요일 무한도전 이야기였었죠. 여전히 다시 무한도전이 시작하기를 바라는 사람들이 많을거에요. There were many people waiting to enter even in the rain. It's still popular on YouTube and in short videos, but at that time, the first story of people every Monday was the story of "Infinite Challenge" on Saturday. There are still many people who want Infinite Challenge to start again.
- 1층 - 1st Floor
무한도전 촬영하면서 찍었던 사진들을 인화해서 붙여두었어요. TV속에서 보던 장면도 있었고, 화면 뒤에서의 모습도 있었습니다. 수많은 사진들을 한장씩 보면서 그 장면들을 떠올려 보기도 했었고, 보지 못했던 모습을 보면서 이랬구나.. 하는 생각도 들었었죠. It printed and pasted the pictures I took while filming "Infinite Challenge." There were scenes that I saw on TV, and there were pictures that I couldn't see because of behind the screen. I thought of the scenes while looking at the countless photos one by one, and I saw the things I didn't see. That's what I thought.
무한도전 촬영하는 틈틈이 멤버들 모르게 찍은 사진들을 보면서, 참 즐겁게 촬영하는구나.. 하는 생각도 들었어요. 그리고 알게모르게 그 상황을 이끌어 내기 위해 고미하는 모습도 같이 보였습니다. Looking at the photos taken without the members knowing, I thought they were having a lot of fun during filming for Infinite Challenge.
저 특유의 제스처는 무한도전의 시그니쳐였죠. 사진 찍을 때면, V표시와 함께 가장 많이 했던 포즈였던게 기억나네요. That signature gesture was "Infinite Challenge". When I took pictures, I remember the pose that I did the most with the V sign.
- 3층 - 3rd Floor
3층 전시장의 분위기는 은은한 노란불 속에서 고적한 가을날의 노을이 느껴졌어요. The atmosphere of the exhibition hall on the third floor was felt by the lonely sunset of autumn in the subtle yellow light.
무한도전이 있게 만든 일등공신 김태호PD의 단독 사진이 눈길을 끌었습니다. 기발한 발상과 거침없는 추진력, 독특한 성격을 가졌기에 무한도전을 만들었고, 지금의 놀면 뭐하니 프로그램까지 이어질 수 있었던 거겠죠. The solo photo of producer Kim Tae-ho, who made Infinite Challenge, attracted attention. He created Infinite Challenge because he had an ingenious idea, relentless drive, and unique personality, and he was able to continue the program.
흑백 모노처리를 한 사진에서 감정이 느껴지는 듯 했어요. 촬영중간 지친 몸을 잠시 쉬어가는데, 표정에서는 알 수 없는 허탈함도 느껴지는거 같았어요. I could feel the emotion in the black-and-white mono picture. I rested my tired body for a while during the shoot, and I felt a sense of emptiness that I couldn't understand from my expression.
무한도전이라는 프로그램을 위해서.. 팬들을 위해서 스스로 망가지는 것을 두려워하지 않았기에 사람들이 박수와 응원을 보냈던 것 같아요. 그 속에 온전히 몰입할 수 있다는 것만으로도 어쩌면 행운이 아닐까요? For a program called Infinite Challenge... I think for people applauded and cheered for the fans.. they weren't afraid to ruin themselves. Wouldn't it be luck to be able to fully immerse yourself in it?
그동안의 무한도전의 하이라이트를 볼 수 있도록 시청 공간도 마련되어 있었습니다. Here was also a viewing space for you to see the highlights of Infinite Challenge.
3층의 마지막 사진은 뉴욕에서 촬영했을 때의 모습인 것 같아요. 5년이 넘는 시간동안 동거동락을 한 스태프들의 정은 얼마나 깊을까요? 그렇게 무한도전은 10년을 넘게 이어올 수 있었던 것 같습니다. I think the last picture on the third floor was taken in New York. How deep is the affection of the staff who have lived together for more than 5 years? I think It was able to continue the Infinite Challenge for more than 10 years.
- 2층 - 2nd Floor
무한도전의 연대기 같은 설명이 적혀있었어요. 폐지의 위기라든지, 멤버 교체 등 각종 우여곡절 끝에도 그 명맥을 이어갈 수 있었던 것은 모두가 진심으로 임했기 때문이 아니었을까요? There was a chronicle of Infinite Challenge. Wasn't it because everyone was sincere about the crisis of abolition and the change of members that allowed them to continue their lives after various twists and turns?
제가 좋아하는 사진들이 가득했던 2층입니다. This is the second floor full of my favorite pictures.
촬영 중간중간 혹은 촬영하는 그 순간을 남긴 사진들이죠. 사진은 흘러가는 시간 속에서 순간을 기록하는 도구라고 생각합니다. 그래서 찰나의 순간을 포착한 사진을 아직까지도 좋아하구요. Pictures are that it leave behind the scenes or the moment they're being filmed. I think photography is a tool to record moments in time. So I still like photographs that capture the moment.
숨길 수 없는 표정과 감정들을 가장 잘 들어내기에 어쩌면 사진 속에서는 그 누구도 속일 수 없다고 생각합니다. I think it's impossible to fool anyone in the picture because it's the best at appear to facial expressions and emotions that can't be hidden.
모든 전시관람이 끝나고 마무리하고 돌아갔습니다. I finished all the exhibitions and went back.
당시 찍었던 사진들을 보다보니, 어느덧 그 시절의 저도 함께 떠올라서 웃음짓다가도, 그 만큼 흘러버린 시간이 안타깝게 느껴지네요.결국 지나갈 시간이고 일들이었는데, 너무 강박에 사로잡혔던 제가 떠올라서요. Looking at the pictures I took at that time, I suddenly remembered myself from that time and laughed, but I feel sorry for the time that has passed.After all, it was time to pass and things happened, but I remembered myself being so obsessive.
이런 생각이 드는걸 보니 저도 이제 꽤 나이를 먹었나 봅니다. I think I'm quite old now.
